Privacy Policy

Updated October 8, 2025

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NextBuild ("we", "us", "our") handles information collected when you book a prototype session, engage in an SOW, or interact with our website and services.

By working with NextBuild or submitting information, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as name, email, company details, product context, and project requirements shared through booking forms, discovery calls, or intake documents.

During engagements we may store design assets, prototype references, code snippets, or other files you send for the purpose of delivering agreed work.

We also collect limited technical data (browser type, device, page interactions) to improve this site. This data is typically aggregated and not tied to identifiable individuals.

3. How We Use Information

To prepare for prototype sessions and scope reviews.

To deliver services outlined in a signed statement of work (SOW).

To communicate with you regarding availability, schedule changes, invoices, and support.

To improve operations, including anonymized analytics that help us understand interest in offerings.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Information may be shared with carefully selected service providers (e.g., scheduling, analytics, payment platforms) strictly to support service delivery. Those providers are bound by their own privacy terms and are only given the minimum data necessary.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NextBuild or our clients.

5. Data Retention

Prototype session notes and intake forms are retained as long as reasonably necessary to provide follow-up services. Material linked to an SOW may be retained for record keeping, portfolio consent tracking, or legal purposes.

You may request deletion of non-essential information by emailing hello@nextbuild.co. Some data may need to be kept for bookkeeping or legal obligations.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard information, including secure storage, access controls, and encrypted communication where appropriate.

Despite best efforts, no digital environment is completely secure. We encourage clients to avoid sending secrets, credentials, or production data unless absolutely required and agreed upon in writing.

7. Third-Party Services

NextBuild may rely on third-party tools for scheduling, code hosting, design collaboration, analytics, or payments. These providers have their own privacy policies; we recommend reviewing them to understand their data practices.

8. International Transfers

NextBuild operates remotely and may store or process information in locations outside of your jurisdiction. By engaging with us, you consent to these cross-border transfers.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data. Contact hello@nextbuild.co to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be dated and, where practical, communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance.
